Mission (goal; what are we striving for?)
To halt biodiversity loss, we focus on conserving endangered species and their habitats. We do this by offering courses in nature conservation and by training people to become Wildlife Experts. We use the course fees to support endangered species projects worldwide.
Vision
With a deep passion for animals and nature, we strive to care for wildlife, especially endangered species. We believe that every life has value and meaning; that of every person and every animal! Cross Nature was founded from a Christian perspective for everyone with a big heart for animals and nature, both Christian and non-Christian. Transparency in partnerships is important to us. That's why we only work with organizations we know personally. This keeps communication lines open and ensures the money is well-received.
We are Paul and Miranda Hoeksema, founders of the Cross Nature Foundation, established on January 9, 2019.
As wildlife experts and conservationists, we are passionate about sharing our knowledge with others. Paul is currently pursuing a Pre-Master's degree in Environmental Sciences, and Miranda holds a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences (MSc) and is pursuing a PhD in Wildlife Science within that program.
