Our ABC:

A = Academy for Nature Conservation
Have you always wanted to learn about protecting endangered species and nature? Perhaps you are on the threshold of starting your career or are considering a career change? Is your passion for nature so deeply ingrained that you want nothing more than to actively dedicate yourself to nature conservation? Then you have come to the right place at Cross Nature. Learning and participating in nature conservation. That is our motto!

Our course instructors are university-educated and also have extensive experience in nature conservation. These instructors provide you with the best scientific knowledge and practical expertise, ensuring you are well prepared for a career in nature conservation. For you will not only acquire theoretical knowledge but also have the opportunity to gain experience worldwide in wildlife projects.

B = Understanding the behavior of animals in the wild
By understanding the behavior of animals in relation to their environment, we can better protect their habitats and prevent conflicts with humans. Therefore, during the course, you will conduct research into the behavior of wild animals, and we focus on coexistence: living together in harmony between humans and animals.

All projects focus on general nature conservation, but each also features a specific monkey species that is protected. Monkeys are animals that appeal to people through their behavior. Because their behavior is so recognizable to humans, monkeys can become ambassadors for the protection of many animal species in their habitat. Each partner protects the monkey species in a different way. By comparing the different methods, you, as a course participant, gain a clear understanding of the various ways of nature conservation.

C = Compassion, Connection & Concrete Actions
Compassionate conservation (nature conservation based on compassion / empathy) assumes that not only the species counts, but also the individual. For we believe that every life is valuable, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem. Therefore, we will not kill animals to preserve other species.

Compassion alone is not enough. We must work together globally and protect wild animals and their habitats through concrete actions. And that is where we start during the course: by learning together and participating in nature conservation.
